Hi! My name is Amanda Peterson and this will be my 15^th year of teaching and my 6^th year in first grade. I am married to Aaron Peterson who is an engineering tech. and partner at W Design Associates here in McCook. Aaron and I have 5 children, so I feel like we are always on the run! Our oldest son graduated college in May so he is enjoying adult life now. Our daughter Sara will be starting her 1^st year of college at MCC this year and is pursuing a degree in nursing. Rebecca is Junior at McCook High and plays volleyball and is member of the STARZ dance team. Hannah will be an 8th grader here at St. Pats and our youngest daughter Lexi is in 3^rd grade. I am excited for what will be a busy fall sports season as I watch my girls participate in volleyball.

I am excited to finally have kids in my room so we can begin an exciting new year in first grade! My summer went by very fast and was filled with lots of family time including a trip to the beach in Texas, watching softball, running kids around, lots of baking and cooking, and huge exterior house project. I am thrilled to start this new school year! I look forward to all that God has in store for us this year, HE will always be our guide as we grown and learn together.
