Welcome back and I hope everyone had a wonderful and creative summer. I feel so blessed to be a part of the staff here at St. Patrick’s School, teaching Kindergarten through 8th Grade Art as well as Kindergarten through 8th Grade Computers. This is my 16th year here at St. Pat’s and I am looking forward to another wonderful year.

Some information about myself and my family you might not know. I have lived in the area for almost 28 years. My husband, Merlin is currently transports ag and chemical products for Kugler’s in Culbertson. I also have three adult daughters named Micah, Noelle, and Stacia.

Micah is 28 years old and currently living by Mancelona, Michigan with her husband Randy and 14 year old son Anthony. Micah also found it in her heart to bless a local family through adoption. We are so glad the family wants us in their lives. Thanks to Micah’s loving heart we are blessed with 3 granddaughters aged 14 and almost 6 years old twins. We are happy to have such a wonderful extended family.

My daughter Noelle is 25 years old and lives on our family farm outside of McCook with her husband Will and 1 year old son. It is great to have them close by so I can see our newest grandson every day.

My youngest daughter, Stacia is 22 and lives in McCook with her husband Alex and her dog, Minna and Vash, their cat.

I also can’t forget my very large dogs Miura who is now 7 years old and Noelle’s dog named Khal who is now 4 year old. They both are Great Danes and keep my family entertained by their silly shenanigans. I also have a cat named Rue along with several chickens.

I have had a very busy summer. I was blessed with an opportunity teach many youth art workshops this summer but when I was not doing that I would be taking care of our very large garden. Some other fun things I enjoyed doing this summer was camping, fishing, and working on DIY projects around home. One of the most memorable things I was able to do this summer was go to see the Beyond VanGogh Art exhibit in Omaha, NE.

I am looking forward to another creative year. See you around the school.
