Welcome back! I am in complete disbelief at how fast this summer went. However, I am ready to kick off the start of a new school year, my eighth-year teaching second grade at St. Patrick School.

During the summer I love to be around the water, so I spent some time camping, fishing, boating, swimming, etc. My whole family went camping the Fourth of July weekend and we had a blast!

I also got to spend some quality time with my three dogs; Dixie, Izzy, and Scout. Dixie like to take naps, Izzy likes to play fetch, and Scout is just a goofball.

The last weekend in July my siblings and I took a trip to Kansas City. We took in a Royals game (Go Royals), played a few rounds at Top Golf, did a little shopping, and ate delicious food!

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer, and I look forward to seeing you back at school. I pray that we all have a safe, healthy, and holy school year!
